Due to our continuing expansion, K law is looking for a French speaking Junior Associate Corporate Law to join the Kortrijk team.

Roles & Responsibilities

As a Junior Associate in Corporate Law, you will advise national and international clients in a broad range of M&A Transactions. You will be part of a strong team of lawyers and you will advise companies on corporate matters. You will attend meetings with clients and maintain strong relationships with them.

You will guide our clients in, amongst others, the next fields of expertise:

  • Setting-up of companies and drafting shareholders’ agreements
  • Mergers and Demergers
  • Acquisitions (buy and sell side): Legal due diligence and drafting and negotiation of all transaction documentation including, Non-Disclosure Agreements ("NDA"), Letters Of Intent ("LOI"), Share Purchase Agreements ("SPA") and Asset Purchase Agreements ("APA")
  • Restructuring and joint-ventures
Skills & Qualifications
  • You have a master degree in Law and preferably a specialized degree in Corporate Law
  • You are eager to learn and you have the ambition to excel in the legal fields mentioned above
  • You have strong analytical skills and writing skills
  • You are fluent in French (mother tongue) and master English (knowledge of Dutch is an additional asset)
  • You are a real team player
  • You are client-oriented
