Cyber Security Awareness Month
The EU has designated October as the European Cyber Security Month (ECSM). In this regard, the Center for Cyber security Belgium (CCB) and the Cyber Security Coalition (CSC) have announced a joint campaign to raise awareness around the problem of “phishing” in Belgium.
Wijziging socialezekerheidsregels bij grensoverschrijdende tewerkstelling
Bepaalde personen die reeds voordien grensoverschrijdend waren tewerkgesteld, konden evenwel gedurende een periode van maximum tien jaar onderworpen blijven aan de oude regels. Het is deze overgangsperiode die afloopt op 30 april 2020, wat een belangrijke impact kan hebben op bepaalde tewerkstellingssituaties.
Company Code Update: appeal submitted to the Constitutional Court
Since the adoption of the new Belgian Companies and Associations Code (CAC) in February 2019, companies and associations incorporated after 1 May 2019 must be in line with this new legislation. On 27 September, an appeal for partial annulment of the Companies and Associations Code was brought before the Constitutional Court.
