K law hires real estate specialist
K law is pleased to announce yet another important lateral hire. Real Estate specialist Jim Bauwens has joined our firm in a move designed to enhance and expand further K law’s Real Estate Department.
With more than 17 years of experience in Real Estate Transactions and compliance, Jim specializes in all legal aspects of real estate transactions and compliance, with a specific and in depth focus on the retail sector. Operating out of our Kortrijk offices, Jim will be responsible for expanding our real estate client portfolio in East and West Flanders.
Before joining K law, Jim Bauwens was a Partner in the Real Estate Department of DLA Piper in Belgium, where he started his career.
Our firm, which already has significant M&A and Corporate, Tax, Employment, Banking & Finance and Real Estate practices, is delighted with the appointment of Jim.
